Kenya is directly situated along the equator on the eastern coast of Africa. It's coast lies on the southeast of the country and to the east lies Somalia. Ethiopia is to the north, the Sudan to the northwest and Uganda to the west. Lake Victoria marks the southwestern border of the country further south lies Tanzania. Much of north eastern Kenya is a flat, bush-covered plain, while the remainder of the country encompasses beautiful beaches, scenic highlands and lakes such as the Great Rift Valley and Mount Kenya.

Traditionally, most property opportunities were found in the coastal regions and within Kenya's Safari Parks. Game lodges often prove to be popular purchases and there are many residential and commercial properties in beach areas such as Diani.
